This role is strictly Wellington based due to the in-person requirement of the position.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Operations, this role is one of two Service Desk Analysts who support internal TEC team members by providing first level technical support, sharing information, and providing training. This is a permanent, full-time position, 37.5 hours per week based in TEC's modern office space at 44 The Terrace, Wellington.

  • Identifying and troubleshooting IT related problems/requests
  • Providing TEC staff with support and advice concerning IT related issues
  • Providing technical assistance as the go-to for any support related to our computer systems, hardware, and software.

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is keen to take ownership of identifying, troubleshooting and resolving IT related incidents/requests and protect the desktop environment via monthly patching compliance.

You bring the following:

  • At least 1 years' experience in a service desk and support environment is required
  • Experience in the support of web-based business applications (1-year required)
  • Good technical experience in the Windows Desktop, Microsoft Office Suite (1-year required)
  • Evidence of a customer focused attitude with excellent communication skills
  • An ability to filter and prioritise tasks using your time management skills and knowledge.
  • An ability to convey complicated processes in an easy manner to help customers understand technical concepts easily.

The salary range for this position starts from $59,233 up to $69,686 depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
