Job Description

We're seeking a talented Senior Content Developer to join our friendly and supportive team. You'll love web content in all its forms and have a passion for continuously improving the user experience.

This is currently a six-month contract based in Wellington, with scope for continuation depending on future needs.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

The TEC Content team is part of the Products & Channels Group. We achieve TEC's priorities through meaningful and effective engagement with target audiences including learners, job seekers and tertiary organisations. As a Senior Content Developer, you will be:

  • guiding major content changes across our websites
  • using your redirecting skills to help smoothly decommission a website and transition to a new one
  • monitoring web performance using analytics tools and presenting insights to stakeholders to assist in decision-making
  • working with our web developers, UX designers and business analysts to develop exciting new features
  • doing day-to-day management of some of our websites, products and other digital deliverables as required.

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:

This role involves contributing to web projects, collaborating with developers and designers, and using analytics to improve usability. If you have strong CMS and HTML experience, a knack for digital channels, and enjoy working in an Agile environment, this role is for you. You will bring:

  • proven experience managing digital projects
  • familiarity with managing product backlogs and working with developers and UX teams in an Agile environment
  • highly-developed technical skills across a range of digital systems and tools (including Silverstripe, Google Analytics4, Hotjar, Azure Dev Ops etc)
  • excellent written communication skills to develop clear content for our audiences, and great presentation skills.
