Do you enjoy working across business units to deliver quality work? We're seeking a skilled and analytical Project Advisor who brings experience in project, programme, or portfolio management environments. You will be comfortable working with complex information and providing clear, practical insights to support senior decision-makers This is a key role providing high-quality, reporting and analysis advice to support decision-making across the organisation.
He angitūtanga: What will you be doing?
As Project Advisor, you will support the delivery of high-quality portfolio oversight, reporting, and governance across the organisation. You'll play an important role in strengthening how projects are governed and delivered, helping ensure the organisation's investment in programmes and initiatives achieves the intended outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of information across the project portfolio
- Providing insights and advice to improve the quality of project reporting and performance visibility
- Assisting with the preparation of governance reporting, including for the Portfolio Governance Board
- Supporting leaders and project managers to interpret complex information and inform decision-making
- Contributing to the development and improvement of project management frameworks, tools, and guidance
- Promoting consistency and best practice across project delivery
- Supporting organisational planning and reporting processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and investment reporting
- Helping to maintain and enhance governance systems, processes, and annual governance activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and overall portfolio management capability
He kōrero mōu: What will you bring to the role?
You'll be adaptable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift.
- Experience working in a PMO, EPMO, or similar project/portfolio environment.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks, tools, and governance practices
- The ability to analyse complex information and translate it into meaningful insights and reporting.
- Experience supporting or delivering portfolio-level reporting and performance monitoring.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise reports for senior audiences.
You will also bring a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to enhance systems, processes, and reporting practices

- The recruitment range for the position starts from $86,769 to $102,081, + Employer Kiwisaver contributions. Appointment in range will be based on our assessment of the skills and experience you bring to the role.
