We have the opportunity for an Advisor Learning and Development to join the TEC. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for training both new and existing Customer Contact Team (CCT) members to support service excellence for our customers through specialised and targeted team technical training sessions. The Advisor Learning & Development writes and develops training material and delivers technical training.

 

He angitūtanga: What will you be doing?

This is a hands-on role where you'll partner with in -house subject matter experts to develop and deliver training. The role will involve some combination of coordinating and the scheduling of training. It will primarily focus on:

  • Technical training delivery: Working with in-house subject matter experts to write, develop and deliver training - face to-face and online - to a variety of audiences e.g. customer contact team members, and generalist advisors.
  • Training coordination: Scheduling and booking of resources, co-ordinating and recording attendance, training evaluation, lessons learned and supporting continuous improvement of training programmes, induction, and resources.

 

He kōrero mōu: What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience in Learning & Development or similar advisory role 
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experience in creating, updating, and maintaining training resources in diverse formats.
  • Experience in training delivery / facilitation
  • Proven training and stakeholder relationship management skills 
  • Administration / coordination skills
  • Experience in skills gaps analysis (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience working in government or tertiary sector (desirable but not essential)

  • Recruitment remuneration range: $86k to $102k depending on skills and experience.
